The QuickNav Pages provide an alternate navigation path to selected topic information for listed functional or hardware components associated with the system. While every QuickNav page shares a common look-and-feel, each is also customized to the topic it supports. However, accessing content from a QuickNav page is universal among all pages.
ATTENTION QuickNav is an optional feature of the Knowledge Builder. Not all hosted booksets will support this feature. |
The following procedure outlines how to access selected topics for an AUXCALC function block from the QuickNav Pages for example purposes only. You can easily adapt the procedure to access other QuickNav Pages content.

Confirms that the Contents tab is open in the topic window. |

Click the plus sign + for the bookset you wish to view. |
Expands the bookset hierarchy in the topic window grouped into task-based categories. |

Expands the QuickNav category hierarchy in the topic window. |

Expands the QuickNav Pages hierarchy in the topic window. |

Expands the Function Blocks hierarchy. |

TIP You can also just double click a bookset, book, or topic title to expand it. Note that the number of topics and sub-topics may vary for a given book. If you click a topic such as Auxiliary in QuickNav Pages a contents hierarchy is displayed in the content window. | ||

Opens the QuickNav Page in the content window. |

Opens appropriate content link in the Knowledge Builder bookset. |
TIP With the cursor in the content window, the book source of the content displayed is listed in the status bar as shown in the following illustration for example purposes only. This is an optional feature and it may not be supported by every bookset. ![]() | ||

In the toolbar, click the Back button. |
Returns to QuickNav Page in the content window. |
